Frygt - a Solo Experiment with Modular Synthesizers and Metal Roots

Frygt (Fear) is a solo project by South Jutland musician Pætter Wollesen. Originally known as a guitarist and songwriter in the Aarhus-based metal band Helskov, he has since expanded his musical expression as a member of the Kolding band Manali - now focusing on vocals and modular synths instead of guitar.

At Aarhus Jazz Festival, he presents Frygt in a solo format, where he pushes the boundaries of what jazz can be through his work with modular synthesizers. It will be an intense and boundary-pushing concert experience, challenging genre understanding and leaving the audience with both new impressions and questions.
