Ferm & AC have been performing, recording, and touring together since 2001.

Ned Ferm

Celebrated Copenhagen-based American multi-instrumentalist Ned Ferm (born 1982) is best known for his saxophone playing, having performed and recorded with a diverse range of artists, including Yusef Lateef, Roswell Rudd, Airto Moriera, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jakob Bro, Jacob Anderskov, Maria Faust, Tyshawn Sorey, Mark Guiliana, Sam Barsh, The Sandmen, and MØ. In 2001, at the age of 19, he moved to Copenhagen as the first American ever accepted into the prestigious Rhythmic Music Conservatory, where he would receive three degrees and later teach. Ferm has contributed to over 200 releases as a musician, composer, producer, and author. He is the 2021 recipient of the Bent Jædig Prize.


Anders “AC” Christensen

AC is an internationally acclaimed Danish bassist, composer, and producer who has appeared on over 140 recordings. As a performer, he is best known for his work on the jazz, rock, and pop scenes, collaborating with artists such as Paul Motian, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jakob Bro, Tom Harrell, Joe Lovano, Billy Hart, Lee Konitz, The Raveonettes, The Savage Rose, and Sort Sol. AC has written the musical scores to two award-winning films (“Go With Peace, Jamil” and “Al Medina”) and is a director of the Summer Session Jazz Camp in Denmark.
