The trio Gunde On Garner, led by pianist Henrik Gunde, throws itself into music that – had he been alive today – might be played by the fleet-handed musical genius Erroll Garner. This is true both live and on Gunde’s debut CD Gunde On Garner (2007), where the pianist has chosen a series of numbers by people including Billy Joel, Norah Jones, Kim Larsen, Kai Normann Andersen and Jacob Gade – all revitalized in true Erroll Garner fashion.
