Beautiful Interactions with the Surrounding World
The young, award-winning, fearless quartet Baryl plays original compositions that comment on the contemporary world and explore the universe between tight compositions and free collective improvisations.
This interacts beautifully with the surrounding world and what's happening IN the moment.
In December 2021, Baryl released their debut album Already Monday, which in February 2022 became Album of the Week on P8 Jazz and has been played in rotation on the channel ever since.
Later that year, the band won JazzDanmark's Jazz Competition and has most recently played sold-out concerts in Copenhagen and on Funen during Vinterjazz 2023.
