Versatile Saxophonist with Jazz Friends
Jesper Løvdal is Denmark's most versatile and remarkable saxophonist with a playing style that draws inspiration from the entire history of jazz.
He has been heard in constellations as diverse as Kresten Osgood's HEK, Stefan Pasborg's Odessa 5, DR Big Band, Ib Glindemann, and Niels Jørgens Steen's bands.
He has received the Bent Jædig Award, partly because, like Bent, he has traveled the world and found inspiration in its furthest corners. His versatility also leads him into bands with Jomi Massage, Pia Raug, Niels Skousen, Nanna, Daimi, and many more.
